Diane from Daydream Designs, designed these beautiful Scripture sets which can be found in her store :)
There are 3 sets with beautiful Biblical Scriptures.  Each team member chose a Scripture that they loved and Diane worked hard on designing these :)  Just wanted to thank you Diane, you are a very special and caring lady :)
This Scripture fitted perfectly with my oval nestabilities and all I did was add pearls .. and would you believe , of all the paper I have ... this paper was "free" with a craft magazine! ... LOL ♥

♥ Stampin Sisters in Christ ~ Peace ♥

It's been a while from I joined in the challenge over at Stampin Sisters in Christ.  The theme this week is peace or calm.  I used this beautiful soaring bird from Daydream Designs and decoupaged it, adding pearls and sparkle here and there :)  I edged the kraft card with ric rac ribbon so it would look like a scalloped edge and mounted the kraft card on 3d foam (doesn't show up in photo) my hands are very sore today so I'm blessed to have been able to make this with the help of  The Lord ♥
The "peace" stamp is from Crafty Secrets.
I'm sharing this card also with Word Art Wednesday . ♥

♥ Handmade 23rd Psalm Bracelet ♥

Hi there :)  I make Christian jewellery and this is one of the types I make ... The 23rd Psalm.
All the coloured beads are genuine Swarovski Crystal and each colour represents as follows:

The Lord is My shepherd (Opal),  I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in (green) pastures:  He leadeth me beside the still waters (blue),

♥ From Our daily bread ♥

If you’ve never heard of Murphy’s Law, you’ve probably experienced it: “If anything can go wrong, it will.”
Murphy’s maxim reminds me of the principle Jesus shared with His disciples when He told them, “In this world you will have trouble” (John 16:33 NIV). In other words, we can count on it—sooner or later we will hit troubled times. It’s not the way God originally intended life to be, but when the human race first succumbed to Satan’s seduction in the garden, everything on this planet fell into the grip of sin. And the result has been disorder and dysfunction ever since.
The reality of trouble in life is obvious. It’s the reality of peace that often eludes us. Interestingly, when Jesus warned His followers about trouble, in the same breath He also promised peace. He even told them to “be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (v.33). The word overcome indicates a past event that has a continuing effect. Not only did Jesus conquer the fallen world through His death and resurrection, but He continues to provide victory, no matter how much trouble we may face.
So, although we can expect some trouble in this fallen world, the good news is that we can count on Jesus for peace in troubled times.

How true is this!  ... but be assured , Jesus has already fought and won the Victory on calvary's Cross ♥

I haven't been active on my blogs lately :(  having a hard time with illness.  This is a Scripture I love ♥ and I try my best to say it as often as I can remember.  When I was in hospital there was a lovely Christian lady in the next bed to me :)  and when she was feeling at her low points I used to say to her "Rebecca ... remember the wee Scripture??? ... I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13.  and she always smiled back and me in agreement :) ♥

This is a great and powerful Scripture to read before you lay your head on your pillow to sleep ♥

I got this beautiful vintage image from "Little birdie blessings"  When you are a child of God never be afraid, it says in Scripture 365 times {that's one of each day of the year} "Do not fear" ...
With the worries of day to day living we all can get very stressed and find it hard to sleep, so keep this Scripture Psalm 4:8 beside your beside and read it and ask The Lord to help you have a peaceful night's sleep so you can be refreshed and rested for the next day.

♥ What happens in Heaven when we pray ♥

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an Angel was showing me around.
We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with Angels.
My Angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the
Receiving Section."   Here, all petitions to God said in Prayer are received.

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many Angels
sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from
people all over the world.

Then we moved down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The Angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. 

Here, the Graces and Blessings the people asked for are processed and
delivered to the living persons who asked for them."  I noticed again how
busy it was there.  There were many Angels working hard at that station,
since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for
delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a

very small station.  To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there,

idly doing nothing.  "This is the Acknowledgement Section, my Angel friend

quietly admitted to me.  He seemed embarrassed."  How is it that there is no work

going on here?  I asked.

"So sad, " the Angel sighed.  "After people receive the blessings that they asked

for, very few send back acknowledgements"

"How does one acknowledge God's blessings?"  I asked ..

"Simple",   the Angel answered.  Just say, "Thank you, Lord."

"What blessings should they acknowledge?"  I asked.

"If you have food in the refrigerator, or clothes on your back, a roof
overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world.  If
you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish,
you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy."

"And if you received this on your own computer, you are part of the 1%
in the world who has that opportunity."

"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness.  You are
more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day."

"If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of
imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ..... You are
ahead of 700 million people in the world."

"If you can attend a Church without the fear of harassment, arrest,
 torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, 3 billion
people in the world."

"If your parents are still alive and still married ..... You are very rare."

"If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm,  you're
unique to all those in doubt and despair ....... "

Ok, what now?  how can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that
someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed
than over 2 billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Just to let us know that life isn't all plain sailing and having everything we want.  Along with peace and joy, we will experience sorrow and disappointments, but Our loving God will bring us through one day at a time.  Trust and obey!  that's the key ♥

Some Christians expect that the Lord will be the kind of parent who protects them from all sorrow and disappointment. But that’s not the kind of Father He is. He lovingly allows His children to go through suffering (Isa. 43:2; 1 Thess. 3:3).

When we start with the mistaken belief that it’s an easy life that will make us truly happy, we become weary trying to live out our faulty belief. But when we face the truth that life is difficult, we can invest our lives in the pursuit of a good and godly life instead. That kind of life strengthens us for the times when life is difficult.

God’s goal is to make us holy, not just happy (1 Thess. 3:13). And when we are holy, we are more likely to be truly happy and content.

I received a lovely email last night from my lovely friend about how The Lord has our life all weaved together so perfectly, we may not see it sometimes as we battle through life, but one day he will reveal to us this wonderful and perfect picture of our lives :)


My life is but a weaving between God and me.
I may not choose the colours, he knows what they should be,
For he can view the pattern from the upper side,
While I can see it only, on this the under side.
Sometimes he weaveth sorrow, which seemed strange to me,
But I will trust His judgement and work on faithfully.
Tis He who fills the shuttle, He knows what is best,
So I shall weave in earnest and leave Him with the rest.
At last when life is ended, with Him I shall abide, then
I may view the pattern upon the upper side.
Then I shall know the reason, why pain and joy entwined,
It was woven in the fabric, of life that God designed.

This verse was on a beautiful hand crafted card I received from my Pastor and his lovely wife while I was in hospital.  It's times like this you know who your true friends are :)  I have a wonderful Husband who has been by my side from day one, I have a great Mum, who is always here for me and an amazing Mother and Father in law, also not forgetting my "Little Gracie" who is more than a pet, she is a true companion and never leaves my side.

The Lord has never left my side either, I am going through a terrible storm with my health and yes im scared, im only human ... but I have to put my full trust The Lord that He will heal me :)

I love this "Quote" that I found on Pinterest and it is so true .... we all need to be careful how we treat others and words we say.  Harsh words spoken can leave a heart scarred and broken.
This applies to me also, there are words I have spoken and said that I regret.
We are all fighting a daily battle and there are people you meet along the way who are fighting an even harder battle, I have witnessed this first hand as I lay in hospital the past week, not being able to move a muscle, but the good news is with The Lord's help I will regain my health.

♥ Prayer for Healing ♥

This Prayer was given to me some time ago, and it has been very helpful to me through this period of poor health that I am going through.  I have every faith that I will be healed ♥

Feel free to copy it and print it out. If you yourself are going through sickness, keep a little copy in your Bible to pray over you daily.


Heavenly Father, I call on you right now in a special way.  It is through your power that I was created.
Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under your power.

Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power.  For if you created me from nothing you can certainly re-create me.  Fill me with the healing power of your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in me.  Mend what is broken.  Root out any unproductive cells.
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Please remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve you the rest of my life.

I ask this through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour ♥
